The results of Surface-based investigation phase and Construction phases in MIU project were summarized. The investigation techniques of geology, geological structure, rock strength, groundwater inflow and chemistry for facility design and construction were prepared in Surface-based investigation phase. In the Construction phase, the techniques used in Surface-based investigation phase were evaluated based on the data gained in the underground gallery.
